We are using Roboflow which makes annotating images so much quicker. This is good if you’re doing hundreds of images!
Now my models’ precision is up to 91% with a recall of 84%. Isn’t it amazing when you ask for guidance, realizing that you can’t do it all. My goal in the next month or two is to capture more images of Pithomyces Chartarum spores and improve these statistics even more. Especially if they feature obscured spores or spores lacking texture.These are the ones causing the most incorrect predictions.
